Scientific projects
The main department’s project is:
DYNAMAG
- a must-have technology for civil engineering.
Our worldwide used non-contact system for force measurement and corrosion
detection in steel cables and rods is based on the magneto-elastic effect.

Other projects
LF-magnetometer (~pT) for measurement in geologicaly active regions. It can be perhaps used for forecast of events in geologicaly unstable layers.
AC-microohmmeter for school-measurements on high-temperature superconductors (distributed by PHYWE).
Long-Wave magnetometer AKR for solar radiation measurements. First two versions were successfully launched on PROGNOZ 8 and PROGNOZ 10 spacecrafts. Last third version is currently installed on INTERBALL spacecraft.
Some members of our department participate on other scientific projects. Please see WEB-pages of department’s members for more information.
